La Vera, a historical and natural region perfect to relax. Fancy for natural swimming pools? then visit Puente De Cuartos and Marmitas del Gigante. Last but not least, National Park of Monfragüe where animals live in complete peace. Salto del Gitano is the most visited place in the park.

Between the 9th and 12th you will be able to enjoy the festival Womad Caceres a free intercultural event with musical performances of different formations, activities, workshops, parades, film screenings, literary recitals, exhibitions, global market or meals of the world getting in our city the fusion of the different cultures.

April events

Between the 14th and 21st the entire city celebrates the Holy Week where different parades surround the city to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ

Cáceres is situated 12 km away from the airport of Badajoz and the closest international airports are Madrid, Sevilla or Lisbon. We recommend to spend 1 day in Cáceres city and 2-3 enjoying the region.
