MURCIA

One of the driest regions in Spain, conquered by the Mediterranean sea by a massive salt water lake called Mar menor, leaving La Manga town as the remaining piece of land in between. The region of Murcia is not only known due to its sandy beaches and sunny weather, it is also named the Spanish Orchard, because of the large production of vegetables and fruits. This might give you an idea how good is this region for tapas and enjoy good food.
