Between the 12th and 21st the entire city celebrates the well known Semana Santa where tradition mixes with religion to celebrate the passion of Christ. It is different from any other parade happening around the country because it rescues the offering of sweets and presents to those watching them.

Murcia has its own international airport in San Javier. We recommend spend 1 day in the city and 3-4 days in the region enjoying the beaches and the nature of the Sierra de Segura and Cazorla.
