VIGO has beautiful beaches, a stunning old town and the most famous night out scene in Galicia.

Iconic dish

Seafood and octopus. Queimada (strong spirit) and Albarinho (white wine).

In the city

Mercado da Pedra great street market.

Spend one day with animals at VigoZoo

Between Plaza da Constitucion and Rua Teofilo Llorente there is big concentration of tapa's bars.

Charge your batteries

We highly recommend to take a ferry to visit Islas Cies known by Romans as the islands of the gods.  Portugal is not that far from this city, be in two different countries in one day!

Outside the city

Every Wednesday morning you can pay a visit to the Mercadillo de Coia at the Parque da Bouza where you will find products from the area, artisanal beauties and traditional food.

May  events

Vigo has its own international airport. Santiago de Compostela is around 1h drive. We recommend to spend 2-3 days here.
